Frage von he.kern:
I still have some with movie-maker created projects (MSWMM format) which I convert to DVD and would like to burn.
ConvertXtoDVD is a tool that is not (it reads only WMV-format).
There is a possibility for conversion?

I still have some with movie-maker created projects (MSWMM format) which I convert to DVD and would like to burn. MSWMM is only one project file and contains no film data, but only references to it. For your project must first create a movie file export, ideally as a DV-AVI.
This should make every reasonable then other software can continue working.

Your project must first create a movie file export, ideally as a DV-AVI. ... just seems with the movie maker not to go. it will be used to film creation will only be offered these options:
 - On cd store
 - Save on computer
 - To transfer dv-camera
or what do I actually do to a DV-AVI files?

... just seems with the movie maker not to go. Yet. The Movie Maker can not much, but he can :-)
it will be used to film creation will only be offered these options: You choose "Save to computer". Somewhere hidden in something "more settings" then there is the option to save as DV-AVI PAL ".

... ok, I try it.
 last question:
My project shows a length of 2 hrs 9 min on.
how long can it max. so that I now turn to producing DV-AVI file to finally get a dvd?

how long can it max. so that I now turn to producing DV-AVI file to finally get a dvd? Since you have misunderstood something: On DVD lands ultimately not the DV-format (would be bad synonymous possible because DV 1 hours = approx 13 GB), but the software, which ultimately produced the disc, converts the file to DV. A DVD contains the footage in VOB files, which is a special kind of MPEG2, so much more compressed than DV.
After the DV export is still a second step with other software needed.

... I have recently increased pinnacle studio 10.5, but not yet worked.
 1. herewith I can probably my DV avi file capture and burn to dvd?
 2. how can I (of the length of the project, or the size of the DV-avi file) determine whether the whole match on a dvd?

 1. herewith I can probably my DV avi file capture and burn to dvd? Yes, but you like synonymous of the above ConvertXtoDVD should be able, as a fairly universal data format.
 2. how can I (of the length of the project, or the size of the DV-avi file) determine whether the whole match on a dvd? The are you doing about the data, with the then ultimately the VOB files. The quality is achieved but ultimately very dependent on the used encoder. With a good encoder should be good 2 hours but in herzeigbarer quality on a DVD can bring.
