Hello,
I have borrowed a Canon HG10, I was not, however, about the new format of the movies created deliberately.
Now I have the pictures in a file called MTS (AVCHD format) packaged and can not begin with them.
I have Ulead Video Studio 10, Pinnacle 10, both recognize this new format is not.
I am looking for an urgent opportunity in this new format, MPEG, WMV, etc. ... transform or convert.
Is this one? (with freeware)
I have to Disem topic have already read many posts here but still no real answer.
So do not edit in this format, but convert!

You can download the clips easy. Rename m2ts mpg or.. Or use the supplied to the camera import software.

Hello, looking on the slap, I'm on this thread, and unfortunately, just as helpless as many other amateur videographers, who have now ventured to HD.
I tried out the following:
- File renamed to mpg or m2ts nothing has such lists must. Same error messages.
- The camera, unfortunately, was no software. There were only the usual Canon Desktop Programs, PDF and son stuff.
- :-( Synonymous googling without success, if it is always interesting to come to answer any more.
Could someone give me a hint, look at how an MTS-File of the Canon HG10, edit and burn to DVD disc. Many many thanks.

ahha, thank you. The time was a concrete info and I could see first bewergte images on my screen as I * * ohoooo is the installation of fragwürdigken codec packages remained spared.
Unfortunately both of my test clips only have a length of seconds just 1.11. But there is probably (and we hope we simply) because I have taken the two most small files (; each about 2.5 MB).
I certainly hope that you can edit with this program videos synonymous (brightness, high-contrast, cut ton), and in compressed form synonymous can burn to traditional DVDs. (;?)
Tips and suggestions for further program I am grateful. I rise again in the coming days with further questions and newbe problems.

lukasd I'm glad I could help you. synonymous with the program you can edit the videos with sound does it make a difference but that is less well (many Programs in this price range, except Magix) but that does not work for me satisfactorily. Is a different story. You have downloaded the manual with you? DVD burn, comes in all variations. If you have a Blu-ray player, you can even in this format, burn to normal DVD. But in peace time reading through the manual.

ne, blueray, I have unfortunately not. Will I probably synonymous as soon not have. In principle, I can not even get full-hd tv on my watch ;-)
Therefore, currently only one synonymous dubbing, editing and dvd-burn required. And later I got the reserve that it would be synonymous in higher resolution again re-combustible. And since I obviously do not want to experience the surprise that my recordings of the past 5 years have all become nothing, and I have not noticed it.

You will only without HD-enabled editing suite so can not identify things such as light blur - I admit to be considered. At least s.PC should therefore have a good Vorschaugüte, with a sufficiently large thumbnail.

yes. na that is clear. large window viewing and 4-core processor. Should suffice for a start.

Have fun with the Schitt - although with the computer equipment will cut other programs already quite synonymous with AVCHD.
