Frage von MiXMaster:I have a still MV200i zZt under Win98SE with the Canopus EZDV run, no problem. But now wants to upgrade to XP.
Previously, the Canon had problems even with a "normal" firewire card (wg.des chipset, so the purchase of expensive EZDV).
1. Is it possible in WinXP, the Cam connected directly s.Firewire or should I continue to use the EZDV and can then install a motherboard without Firewire?
2. Or maybe even give it to problems with the EZDV on WinXP?
All in all, old Cam + old capture card s.neues operating system?
Thanks for Reviews.

Hello Andrea,
regarding the usability of the existing hardware in a new calculator, I can tell you anything. Inform yourself in advance the necessary drivers for XP or cooperation with possibly new programs.

But has anyone else here had experiences with the MV200i under WinXP? To behave in a very few exceptions is (thanks to Universal driver OHCI) all MiniDV - Digital8 and DVCAM same camcorder and recorder with WinXP. ;-)
Like I've heard that SP2 is probably absolutely necessary in order to remove clean and safe especially running. This opinion is very common among computer people, but for videographers
synonymous among the proper functioning of the Firewire interface. And this function is compromised with SP2 initial adhesion. Another example:
