Frage von Anne Nerven:Hello Avidianer,
I had recently with Windows Explorer to drag and drop MXF Files (; MC3.5) moved to a new hard drive. This has replaced the old and just taken over the Laufwerksbustaben (or, if this is at all important). Obviously, I've probably forgotten something or done something that one should not do. Anyway, I can not access the data. Neither Relink with the Media Tool or more directly as an import in the BIN.
Is there any escape? I see before me. I can handle it. But they do not want to (; original) Project.
Who knows advice?

Hallöchen,
'm not sure, but you could try the following:
If you still have your old drive, then you get the. Mdb file and copy it synonymous to the plate. Then try it again, possibly synonymous to Relink.
Otherwise is important that available on the new disk the same structure (that is AvidMedia Files folder, etc.).
Otherwise, you will probably see that you zurückkopierst everything and then right on the new record konsolidierst (right click -> Consolidate).
Last resort, but very dirty, you can open most mxf files synonymous with VLC. There is a function with which you can convert the clips. Do one. Mov and import it in the Avid.
But how lossy is the estimate I can not. In addition, these newly imported clips are then not linked to your timeline.
Hope I could help.

Hello Rapilino,
Thank you for your reply. In the meantime, found out that I have no access to the copied files. Not even in WinExplorer. According avidforum resolve a user problem, which I'm trying right now still.
You can not open with the VLC Player synonymous.
Thank you all!
