You probably are referring to 21:9 on our discussion of the other day, right?
So at least for Video Deluxe 2007-2008 Plus I still use synonymous next premiere, you can with the right click on the video in the timeline and the "image size and position." Right you can change the section in pixels and thus cut off above and below 140 ...
In the premiere of course much easier. 21:9 But again because of the story: I recently made a few synonymous exports to 21:9 with the help of the Instructions of Axel, but have to say honestly: If you are not just the images on a 21:9 TV show or even in the Movies like, it's not worth really. The stupid Magix (or the internal beschis ... MainConcept encoder, no preference bakes) own more black bars on the material in order to export more to get to 720 or 1080 Height.

I must correct myself. In the Pro version's well now so:
Project Settings Position / Size Extract / Zoom mp4 export Encoder settings Striking: no preference what you typing in the maximum bitrate in the encoder settings, there are effectively no more than 9400th
Accordingly, the result will look synonymous, no preference whether with single or 2pass process is encoded.
