I looked at it straight on the Magix website. The new menu functions appear to be quite useful. The Free Site synonymous sounds interesting. But what they have done in the old interface with the anthracite professional look? Video Deluxe now looks like a cheap joke program from the crawl box. The washed-out colors and the shoddy design of the graphics you can perhaps take in Purchase, but why is it now so unergonomic hell?

As long as Magix VDL provides no native HDV support, or the external program created mpg files (eg. with CapDVHS) seem more like a fast slideshow played, in my view, one can dispense with any further version.

I recently bought Magix Video Deluxe 2006th There are, in my view absolutely nothing to complain. The price / performance ratio right. The handling is synonymous easy for beginners and one has a program in the entire editing process for his videos. By transferring the film from the camcorder to burning. For my taste, however, one would have to save their own surface, and the program can keep using Windows standard design. The overall handling is built up very clearly. We found synonymous intuitively managed without printed manual - but I have ordered the book about this yet because I want to go a bit deeper into the effects and their combinations. My Conclusion: A highly recommended program, and it is supplied complete synonymous with many different effects, so synonymous beginners quickly get to useful results. A perfect solution all round then.

This should be with) the already mentioned limitations in the processing of MPEG files with high data rates (eg of HDV cameras to truly stress these days because the more often occurs. Even the intelligent rendering of the cut MPEG files will not work smoothly. I've always been able to observe how the program unchanged MPEG snippet has yet completely recoded. The complete MPEG-editing part is in my opinion very shaky implemented. The DV editing is quite useful if part of synonymous Ligos encoder is still lousy. I converted my Magix-DV results are always my existing Cinema Craft Encoder to MPEG2 with and achieved much better results.
