Infoseite // Many DV AVI files to MPEG 2 Batch Encoding - Which program?

Moin moin,

've done it once, digitalis my old DV tapes to (be, 45 - 50 pieces). I dub until the entire tape and then leave with AVCutty optical (there's no digital timestamp 1988 there was ;-)) the Szenenerkennen.
Accordingly, I split the avi file to.

Now I have at the 1 tape 102 scenes and 102 accordingly avi files on the HDD. This would encode I like to archive to DVD compliant MPEG 2nd

I've already looked at the MainConcept MPEG encoder, but with this I would have to open 102 files and set successively on the batch list -> not really comfortable.

With Bathtub because a program, with which I all 102 files into a list of pack and these are then converted into high-quality sequence in MPEG2?

It seems to me one hand on the quality, but on the other hand, the batch comfort because I do not want to open each file individually.

Am grateful for the help ;-)

The more I have not found jetz mal.
A tip: I can highly recommend www.softonic.de. There is massive software (pretty much) all areas. Partial freeware!

Ich habs mal tried, but with this prog again I would have to individually open each Avi arggh * *

The converter is great, but unfortunately it can not encode to MPEG, otherwise it would be a program of my choice, because you can directly open several avi files in the batch list.

I'm open to other program proposals, but requested s.The simple addition of many avi files to think ;-)

Now I discovered the Xilisoft Video Converter (http://www.xilisoft.com/video-converter.html).
This is exactly what I want ;-) (the batch function is very well integrated).

Has an experience with the quality of the MPEG encoder of Xilisoft?

Have just completed my first test series with 75 videos.

Conclusion: The Xilisoft MPEG encoder is beneath contempt. That deinterlacing is very, very bad.

Since I have to, until I found an alternative, for better or worse the MainConcept MPEG encoder and all video files individually, add ...

Canopus ProCoder. There a set up watch folders, all the AVIs you are there, discard into the car of your default format converted.
And why de-interlace? Is not necessary.
