Hello,
so far I knew the two Sony Cams FX1 and HC1 as HD cameras on the German market. Now I read that there is another, the HVR-A1E, priced between the two settled. The German Sony website says nothing of himself, but there are obviously
deals. What's that for a part? Are there any other HD alternatives? Might there be a list somewhere?

In Slashcam the "professional version" of the HC was 1vorgestellt:

The first difference is usually the XLR inputs, timecode and sometimes another (A 1), Other tape recording as DVCAM PD 150.170, and lots of little things on the menu, plenty of electronics or individual functions.
