Frage von krumax:Hello,
I have a serious problem with Avid Media Composer 2.7.2.
I have a small movie in the last 10 hours together cut. Then suddenly my crashte Avid. I've restarted the software. Now I see a big "Media Offline". I can of my QT Reference previously created a certain position rausrendern project (very odd), but unfortunately no longer the work of the past hours. The MXF folder is under Windows "empty. I can not open it. The Project is s.sich there, but the media files are hidden in front of my access. I've been in some boards geguckt, but that the MXF folder is completely empty, is news to me. The project folder, as I said, and as far as okay, but the media files (MXF folder) refuse their service.
I have no idea how it should go next. Can I somehow recover the database in this direction or what to do?
Thank you very much
Abstract:
+ QT Reference rausrendern (as are the media files at once)
+ Project folder exists
- MXF folder is shown as empty (but he probably is not)
- Windows forbidden me to open the MXF folder

I would prefer a data recovery program to the folder and start all recover files that you can get.
Probably there is a data recovery program but only on the entire hard drive or certain file types start. But you know, after what you have to search: MXF, wav, aif and "msmFMID.pmr" and "msmMMOB.mdb" - these are the databases for media files. (Although I think the Avid MXF in the Sound is already integrated, there is no wav or aif files will be).
The restoration, you should only run when Avid is not running.
Place the data in a different folder to restore (if it is) and rename the folder with the files recoverten so he is named as the original folder. Then try again to access it.
This is a directory is empty and not to be accessed, sounds to me more like Windows error.

thanks for the tip - but has not helped.
SOLUTION:
in safe mode, the new folder permissions set. then worked the access again. because it has the most avid crash of a read / read, where the windows has led to the permissions auszuhebeln.
boah I'm glad that it is back in an orderly!
