TO HELP!
I have an Athlon XP 2000 + (yes, yes, no Commission about, okay?;), WinXP Home SP2 with all updates and Ulead MediaStudio Pro 7 with SP3.
Everything works, the video is cut ... And then I want to create an AVI file, but when I want to set the codec (Reiter "AVI") are doing nothing. Synonymous schonmal I waited for an hour, whether the content of the rider might still want to show up, but has not done anything. Now I can only print with the default setting! Does anyone know the problem and remedy? Otherwise, I must have an external tool re-encoding the generated file, which is of course possible, but not nice ... HELP?

Could be a codec conflict.
Download them down VCSwab: http://members.chello.nl/~p.bekke/index.html
That shows you ggf-conflict problem codecs are marked in red. Ggf You can turn on and off individual codecs.

My source material comes straight of a D8-Cam (TRV310E), is thus IR. Whether type 1 or 2, I know at the moment does not help if what I look like.

I tried again at home a little, the problem occurs with Ulead VideoStudio 6 as well. After I checked the codec with gspot, incidentally was one of the Nero Digital Part red. How can I fix it properly sowas?
Nevertheless, this should not be a reason for a crash, right?
Does that something else or do I even re-install my calculator?

I had a similar problem with MSP7, for me it was the Lame MP3 codes. Evt. you should turn off the times.

Okay, that sounds strange now to ... but I'll try it immediately when I get home. However ... how do I uninstall LAME because if it's on it? I'm definitely just a codec pack on it (Gordian Knot) and the error was there before, I think so ... well, otherwise it is precisely at the next re-install testing;)

It actually works!
However, was to blame for me not lame, but a FFDshow Audio codec! This had established itself as ULEAD Audio! Once he was off, everything went perfectly: D
For those who wonder how to uninstall codecs or off:
Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> Audio - Video - and game controllers -> audio codecs / video codecs -> properties
The audio codec can be switched off, video codecs have to be uninstalled.
