Have a Rode VideoMic, with which I am not so satisfied.
Purpose:
Recordings (at clubs, festivals )<---- pretty loud
The VideoMic has an adjustable damping of 10 and 20 dB, I take forever with-20dB. Then the sound ok, but it is unfortunately not very clean and too bassy. so I'm looking for something else

My requirements:
Only one Mic s.Cam (shoe accessories), a number does not go
not necessarily indicative effect
should not distort at high volume levels
Maximum price 500 ¬
What would you recommend? Is really difficult, I am looking for days and now I must ask you once :-)
I have found no other mic to book now, where you can set-20dB or something like that. How could still unravel a good sound (without Zoom H4N etc.)?

Try it once with one Beyerdynamic M58 or similar. certainly dynamic omnidirectional and directional.

SPL can endure much as the AKG C1000S. Super sound comes out of synonymous in noisy environments.

What are you plan to not work. You can with a micro phone directly on the camera does not make musical recordings, but only the atmosphere of the room (ie, tape and take viewers) "somehow". Can you provide the local Tonmensch perhaps a sum of its mixer? This would have improved access times, but synonymous, this is not an ideal solution, because a mixture of sound must be very different than the mix for a recording.

I use a small mixer that set up the sound mixer with two microphones from the audience, the left and right are mixed. Super sound. Not synonymous costs 500 euros
