In our company videos are created with the help of high speed cams. Was used to create the V5 Ligos codec.
Look for a Windows 2003 Terminal gibts codec pack but not a legal order to do more.
Now, a "new" standard for the creation of the videos here ....
I now have the following requirements:
Cheap - but can still synonymous cost what - should stick to, but within limits. 500 Euronen for the MainConcept h.264 I find simply excessive.
Acceptable quality and good compression.
The videos are so great to be on average between 6-25MB and some sent by mail s.The customers. Here the users have no admin rights to install normally around any code.
The department has now proposed the Microsoft MPEG4 V3.
The synonymous looks quite good - the customer must install normally not a codec to watch it can, but legally voher I get the codec to create a video?
After consulting various Forensuchen and of Uncle Google, I believe that this codec format soon become extinct. Also, I'm not sure if I install a codec pack, if I still truly legal version of MS MPEG4 V3 was installed.
H.264 indeed looks really good, but still seems a little early to understand the customer so to attack (but once installed quickly with you ..... the h.264 codec)
The more I read the more insecure and helpless I am.
Maybe someone here can give me some advice?

here As for the H264 I can tell you anything synonymous.
The MS codec is certainly legal and freeware .....
