Hi,
since the new chip provides the HFS20 6Megapixel instead of the HF10 with 2Megapixel would be interested to know whether it's worth making a switch. What I do not completely understand both of yours are so full HD cameras with 1920x1080. then the quality should not really be almost the same / identical.
Or I can save it all and move to a DSLR with Full HD and sell my Nikon D3000 and HF10.
Who has tips?

With video cameras is the same as in the Photo: The resolution - no preference whether the sensor or the format of the recording says - precious little about the picture quality. To what extent do especially the pictures of these two canyons, can be well s.besten determine the basis of test videos.
... Or ... on a DSLR with Full HD upgrade ... That would make me depends on where your priorities lie. If you turn more scenic videos, working in low light or want to play, especially with very low depth of field, then a video-capable DSLR is certainly worth a thought. From the all-round capability as replacement camcorder, these devices are still far away.
