Frage von marzipan:Hi,
The following starting position.
Video footage Mini DV PAL SD 4:3 (720x576)
I cut this (sony vegas) and render it as uncompressed AVI.
Then I render it with TMPEG Xpress 4 as mpg4 (720x576)
When I look at it now (VLC or Quick Time Player), then I have black bars above and below (not much - but it's not full frame)
I render it as a Quicktime movie, then the video in the player is full frame.
Only in mpg4, the problem occurs.
What could this be?
I have something of square / non-full square pixels read.
Thanks for info and help.

Record of eRightSoft SUPER and let you output the video to mp4 and alternates at a 4:3 ration synonymous ... then that should come out clean

The explanation is very simple.
Either you have the correct geometry of the pixels, or picture format for earlier periods to PAL, 768 x 576 were the result of Qudrat
702 x 576 (PAL) ... and that was exactly 4:3, ie Full Frame.
If you of
720 x 576 (DV) the square pixel image, however, are no longer 768 but
788x576 and so you do
not have a
4:3 aspect ratio more (factor 1.33), but a 4,1:3 ratio (factor 1, 37).
Your picture is so einwenig wider. Result out of it, with correct representation of the little black bar.
Unfortunately, this is correct.
