When you are talking in terms of equipment of poor quality, there are not too many sources of error. Let me guess:
You have you the original recording s.TV viewed only once. Here, the camera was plugged directly s.Television.
Then you have the tape copied to the PC gecapturt ( "" via firewire).
Then you have you looked at the pictures this time s.PC and were horrified. Much too dark lines in the Picture, Picture trembled, etc.

If this is your description about the quality problems, the solution is quite simple:
Eighth in the settings for Capturn and edit (cut) in the editing program on the proper settings bezgl field order and stick with DV-AVI.

Then create the DVD and they look at you again on the television. I do not assume that your TV is so high and your eyes trained so that you will see a difference.
On the PC that can still look worse as PC monitors and TVs are two completely different shoes. This has been discussed here often enough to find it with the search function.

Well, it has now with ScLive again captured but the qualitative (AVI) is still Miess! on the PC but I do not think so much better on the TV's that are good now, and then to MPG is certainly true sh ..!

I simply think that looks determined ... eiden out.
Forget for the moment times the Halbbildgeschichte - synonymous because I'm too lazy to describe here, which you can find here in tens of threads, search, and you'll find - and just take 5 minutes of time now on the PC contained clips, add them together, convert them to MPEG2 via Procoder draus and create a DVD. Put in the DVD player and look at it on the Television. Only then you can judge the quality.
