Hello,
I've ne frage.
On my Samsung camcorder VP-D590i is the firewire port broken. The off to the PC via firewire is therefore not possible and USB transfers in this model, only photos.
However, I have a TV card (Hauppauge PCI) with an S-Video and a yellow Chincheingang. What is the quality difference between Firewire and off via the TV card?
Also I like to know whether the firewire port and could be synonymous to repair what the cost could be around.
If anyone has experience so I would look for an answer ...

the camera was 1 year in the cabinet and now you can output dv no longer using ...
is funny! but why does it so easily broken. Perhaps it s.kabel? go fast because this cable is broken?
