Frage von thomypacker:Hi All,
I saved my video of the camera via firewire on the Calculator to AVI. With Virtualdub and now wants to cut back in the same
Store format. The video will then be brought to DVD with DVD Flick norm. I tried that but then suddenly, the 6 GB file is 48 GB in size. With Panasonic's DV codec is not showing me s.das fits Resolutionnicht. How should I book now proceed? [/ Img]
Antwort von tommyb:
After you've cut your stuff, you go to "Video -> Direct Stream Copy".
Since the DV codec codec is an intra frame (each frame is compressed separately), simply rearrange the frames so to speak, and it will not re-encoded.
If you contrast to "Full Processing" is, then the video is re-compressed or not (precisely what leads to 48GB large files).
By the way: If you want to encode your material for whatever reason always synonymous computer anyway, then take the Cedocida DV codec.

Hi,
aha, I did not know. When I select it as DV Cedocida Compressor I just get loud funny colored cubes (blocks) as output.
Do you know what must I do if I want to spend my video that is recorded in 16:9 mode, synonymous as such. I have tried to cut with the resize filter to 720x432 to deny it Cedocida Panasonic DV codec and its service. Because something wrong with the amended Resolutionnicht.
Many thanks and greetings

DV has always Resolutionvon 720x576 pixels (unless it is NTSC, then it is 720x480). That means you can
not change the resolution and then save the video as DV-AVI. VirtualDub gives you out a mistake - because your video is not the standard, and refused entsprich the codec is serving.
I recommend you edit your video as possible in the original - that is synonymous store in original Resolutionund original codec. Only when that was done, You're welcome to download the whole again in VirtualDub, a deinterlace filter and resize filter drüberjagen (Attention, then 16:9 is 720x400) and then for my sake as DivX / XviD / save Something else.
Incidentally VirtualDub's a nice thing, but somewhat confusing for complex Rumschneiden. Each simple editing program offers more convenience (already starts when Windows Movie Maker on).
