I was off to a movie as BetaSP want this record as MiniDV, but now the question is whether I'm getting a better quality if I record directly on BetaSP, to edit and play back on BetaSP.

it would digitize, no preference format in which I record it and then import into avid either in the I connect the corresponding maz, or send an a / d converter, and I can only feed the converter with composit.

Only you will bring with composite but then not much. Everything that goes through, is particularly inferior out again.
At least S-video should be used, then one has at least no dot-crawl and no strange checkerboard pattern on a flat surface. Component would be better, however, synonymous only if one wants to carry out intensive color correction.

Jo, a format can be processed synonymous. Simply import BetaSP a converter as DV25 is not processed for me BetaSP.
Since you already need a component input ..
Where is the question of whether the effort to BetaSP still pays ...
