Frage von biersven:Hi,
we have for Christmas a new computer with IEEE-1394 interface and Ulead Video Studio 9 concerned to finally our old video (on miniDV) s.PC edit pages.
Sadly, we have found that our DV camera (Panasonic NV-MX500EG) only through a USB2.0 port. There is no Firewire port: (
Is there any way to the camera with a FireWire port retrofit? If no, is there anything else of ways in which the video via firewire (ie without extra analog-digital translation) to the PC to bring (for example, there is a "translation engine")?
Thank you,
Sven

Sometimes it is synonymous only a problem of different names for the same thing:
IEEE1394 Firewire = = = i.Link DV
