I have a friend of MiniDV tapes with a variety of content to get them on DVD and digitizer to burn. Now I initially dreamed about tapes with a MiniDV camcorder and rewind I just wanted to briefly look at the tapes. On one of my two camcorder does not play on my Canon is something that you do not really recognize (tiles, strips, etc.). This is supplied with all the tapes case.
My friend does not know with what your camcorder and I was not, as I now clean the contents get digitized. At the time a trial recording to import into Adobe, it breaks up after a second (with the information that the connection was interrupted).
Has anyone a solution or an idea ready? Thanks in advance

Sounds so, as if in the original recording device, the track was a massive movement. Then you can just with the original device capture.
Or the tapes are violent times been exposed to magnetic fields. That would mean an erasure of the tapes immediately.
In both cases: a bad card for you.
Do you have what on the tape, if you scan them in the picture next play?

I suspect also that it s.Camcorders was hope but you can still save the tapes. If I play them do you recognize something, you can see people and cars etc (roughly). But it's all tile and shown below is a bar which is not really changed (for each tape), which corresponds to approximately 2 / 10 of the display height. To illustrate, I have times a picture attached, I did it Still image shooting stopped, however - during play, it is softer, less tile and man (the eye) can see things better synonymous.

It is SP recordings, PAL. Really seems to be a problem with the tapes digitizer. I am going with my friend in touch and see if the original camcorder nor in any way and is thus available to be. Not to have to stop the tapes one after the other to such a company which "destroyed" tapes to restore and MiniDV transferred. Seems expensive, but as I see that it is much s.den images. I will report any case if it is new!

True, I have noticed synonymous. It also tries his luck s.verschiedenen places - do not necessarily have the same members and thus have the same experience. From the Forum of view but because I like the diversity here etc better. But it is a different matter ...
