Hello,
There is an adapter / player, the MiniDV tape read / play and directly via USB s.den PC going? I imagine something similar before, such as a card reader, just with mechanics.
Reason: it should MiniDV tape as uncompressed AVI will be created in order to post. The camera is used for transmission of the data is not available. The detour via a VHS adapter for VCR would be conceivable, but it takes some losses.
What such a "reader" or has a different idea, as I have tapes without the camera to be used directly on the PC to stream it? I'm unfortunately not the "film", but for Post Process etc. responsible;)
I'm thankful for every tip.

I imagine something similar before, such as a card reader, just with mechanics. Fast DV-drive would be something like that. That there is only needed and only with much happiness.

2. "MiniDV tape as uncompressed AVI. What? What do you mean? Uncompressed and DV did not fit together.
3. There are no "VHS adapter. You mean, perhaps the S-Video connection.
4. There was formerly DV installation disks with internal firewire port. Today only overpriced and used via Ebay. Stands in no relationship to a new DV camera.

Well, since I already privately longer synonymous with a camcorder liebäugel, would certainly be a double ingenious alternative. For the customers love to do almost everything:) Normally I'm always fighting hard:)
@ PowerMac: Uncompressed -> the signal is gestreamed and as a single, possibly stored as uncompressed video. So again not encoded.
