Now I wonder: Can we actually save the 100 ¬ for the Canon Lens and instead work with the Minolta Lens? Does the "adapt" problem? Can this old Lens potentially make similar quality recording like the Canon part? Are there any potential problems that may not yet occurred to me at all?

The Minolta Lens s.sich is indeed great, but not simply by adapter convertible. It must be converted mechanically to fit s.dieCanonzu. If you can make someone cheap, it is for your purposes, maybe even better than dasCanonEF because the Minolta is made of solid metal and to draw the s.ihm Sharpness can be better manual.
Alternatives: an old 50mm Nikkor (tip: the sharp age-old Nikkor 50 2.0) or with Zeiss Contax adapter.
One problem may be that a 50mm Lens s.der 550D/600D noNormalbrennweite, but a portrait is Tele (80mm small-screen equivalent). As a universal lens, it is therefore not well suited, and 28mm or 35mm would be more advisable. My personal favorite is adapted the old Nikon 35mm/1.4 s.der Canon. However, this is synonymous to the used market much more expensive than the 50mmCanonEF.
