Frage von mcreisi:Hi,
I currently have two DV camcorder, but wants to replace the older one with a new Sonyhdr-cx550ve (or similar).
Now for the question ...
Can I use the DV and HDV material in common?
Is it possible both a DVD as synonymous to create a Blue Ray?
What about with Picture in Picture cut? It should rather DV camcorder for the "in Picture" video will be used, because the video quality not so good.
Has anyone already worked with two video formats and can provide a test video on Youtube?
Thank you ever now for the help!

Yes and Yes. If only the software.

No but I assume it from not be severe on Youtube is the difference;)
It is possible, and look as long as the DV-Cam only appears as a small picture by picture-in-Picture Effect, a DVD / BluRay synonymous ok. I would refrain of upscale of computer equipment.

hello prime,
thanks for the quick response!
I use Pinnacle Studio 14 or s.Mac iMovie.
It was synonymous Pinnacle Liquid 6, which to me is too cumbersome. :-)
What about normal DVDs? is because the video material of the HDV then similar to the DV? It will be better than DV, but you realize this is not the difference of DV or HDV?

yes, so I've dv hdv avchd and mixed for sd dvd and everything looks ok,
was with me the only problem that I have made in both hd cameras shutter to 25,
and s.end SA it in such a way that looked like liquid dv well and the other light
strobo effect were encountering, but in principle everything looks ok in sd from, but the colors are different, of course ...
funny was that s.pc monitor the dv footage in the video sucks
has looked, why always synonymous, but s.einem tube television set everything looked good ...

Hi,
of course you can mix the material. The difference in resolution is noticeable s.end may be less than unterschidliche gradation and color values.
If you produce music as an end product a DVD, there is no Auflösungsunterschide, as this anyway just in PAL SD dissolve - if you want to make any image details.
If you are in Picture-In-Picture have the choice in advance, of course, the poor-resolution camera use for the smaller picture.
In the Bluery is naturally different. Here you see the resolution difference.

I once had a similar problem as I had to cut a movie from more than one vintage recordings - old and new material SD HD material. Mixing s.sich is not a problem for most editing programs (of course with me Edius), but the output. If you produce a DVD, everything is clear, since you can work in PAL resolution, scale, ie the HD material down. For an output to an HD format, you have the problem that you need to upscale the SD material and it looks to me at least, not good. I then decided in favor of a production with SD, synonymous existed because most of the material in standard definition. This has the advantage that the HD material you can even change the picture, since it Resolutionliefert enough.
