Monitor, 24 inch, 16:10, blickwinkelstabil, NO extended Farbrum
Frage von emzet: Oktober 2009
Hello,
I actually thought it would be a simple exercise: To get a monitor for the film editing, the following properties: - HD 24 inch, 16:10, Resolution - Blickwinkelstabil (ie, no TN panel) - Decent picture quality - NO extended color space - Available
Precisely the point with the expanded color space brings me almost to despair. Have the feeling that it produced almost no longer have any TN panel and no extended color space ...
Theoretically, it would be an example of both: - NEC MultiSync 24WMGX3 - EIZO HD2442W
The NEC gibts but not as good as the Eizo and no more, he is also quite expensive.
Has anyone of you a monitor for the film editing, meets the requirements, and is available in the context of a budget is about 500-900 euros?
Danke schon mal!

This term "extended color space" is so wishy-washy. Most of these are indeed at the xvYCC color space and uses a properly connected monitor and the supporting interface, metadata requires that signal the monitor to the other space. So there is nothing against a monitor with such a color space, because he uses when correctly connected normally, ie without xvYCC, the RGB LTU.

Here, unfortunately, somewhat confusing, rather WoWu. "Mostly" is here to "Adobe RGB", as it comes to computer monitors. Thus, you can not synonymous with an interface that still count with metadata to ensure the correct assignment of here for a colorimetry of color and color stimulus.
A wide gamut monitor for video editing is therefore almost always a disadvantage, since then integrated on a CMM-chain is dependent, and that should not be particularly easy to DTV ... And WideGamut monitors, which are offering a reasonable space emulation, above the sought-price framework.
My tip s.den questioner quickly: When Prad.de to review their testing, how accurate is the sRGB preset of the monitors. That's what I'd consider me.
Antwort von WoWu:
I was not exactly seen as a computer monitor, but as a cut-VIDEO Monitor ...

A monitor for the film editing ..
.... And why not synonymous of sRGB or Adobe RGB spoken but of RGB. HDMI for example, does not look to carry the tax data for the xvYCC color space for the corresponding - - from computer monitors. No, no, I can distinguish video monitors and computer monitors very well. In addition, we practice it here in everyday use, but actually on monitors that exceed the asking price of the thread starter. This does not change s.der functioning.
