Hello,
I was faced with the problem that I would have to monitor my test plant (extract about 2 meters Height and width 50 cm) on two floors (can output to PC via web) and the video archive.
In the pilot plant is moving water, and whose movements have to be seen on the picture to be (for cheap Webcams at sowas is yes, the frame rate or quality) in the basement.
At another plant was installed earlier a MPEG4 of Panasonic NV-GS55 camcorder and a video server (PC with Firewire input). The system is illuminated with moisture.
The entire matter should not be too expensive (500-1000 ¬).
A variation would be material from the surveillance industry to buy - so Lapse Recorder + 2 cameras. In the surveillance cameras but I have serious problems with the information and concerns (monitoring pictures are indeed in my opinion) after a modest quality, vsbei movements. I have found for example in http://www.v-security.de/ some systems, but lack of expertise, I can hardly compare the information correctly.
Unfortunately, you can find at most retailers no such images / videos ....
Or not fit those cameras for pictures and clever you should invest in a better camcorder?

at least, the company JVC has made this idea.
And with the HD 500 & 620 two models with 80 or 120 GB hard drive in the program.
These models take up only when the movement emerges in the Picture. The new feature is called Auto REC.
It captures then either synonymous with 1920x1080 in AVCHD.
I have the models are not here yet, can say little about the movement determination. For the user would like to not have a 24-hour duration videos, but if what is happening in the picture, would like to add someone, but quite interesting.
Especially with the HD 620 is not exactly their SonyBSI chip faint, and would loose all her picture from the webcam to beat variations (sharpness & noise).

Yes and no.
In Oomph it was not a concert recording, but my first video interview (long ago). I was extremely nervous, Flux was the interviewee. The Ooomph forum at that time was still funny, because any constant is purely in the interview room, and Flux has made so his jokes. It was just less professional.
My camera operator was synonymous rather mixed, the first time you think s.tausend things and have no routine in there (level control, image design) & light.
Then the camera synonymous, the Panasonic GS 500, which is good, but can not be served as well as a subsequent SonyPD eg 170 or FX was 7 with whom I worked.
Some well-known groups of the black scene, but I have already recorded immortelle (icebreakers, Lame, Last instance etc) but unfortunately had ne time ago.
