Frage von geid0r:Hello!
I own the Firewire interface Pre8 of Motu. For this I use the AKG C 2000 for contributions to discuss. Sounds synonymous bear strong, just, I have a problem with the weak level, the unit delivers.
Yesterday, my Rode NT-5 mics arrived, I have this same right s.der SonyPD 170 successfully tested (outdoors). The microphones were approximately 1.5 m of a speaking person removed and manual I have the mics just on half gepegelt. Peak sound, no noise, trouble-free.
When I took the microphone today, then s.das Pre8 have attached (about 1 m of me away, in space), I would have quite the level s.Pre8 turn around at approximately -3 dB to come.
Can that be? In the Camera, I had lots of leeway, but here? Fully up and not even - 3 db?
Has anyone experience with this and can confirm whether this is normal or whether a "defect" occurs?
Thank you very much!

Can one of these moto-things (I want me just synonymous to one of growth) is not the input - Level for each channel extra set in dB values? Because then I would because times with Micro-20dB to try ..
Antwort von geid0r:
However, the possibility exists of course. The only thing you can control is just the gain. You can regulate each channel separately. But not on a scale of ... until. This must be either s.den LED's or in the control software.
