I have several Mov files which size is over 5 GB. When you convert to avi then it does not run. To test I have a remaining mov file converted to 1 GB and it runs then synonymous. So it seems only s.der size. Is it possible to split large files into smaller Mov? Who knows what to do?

Quicktime can be clear-(videos. mov split) into multiple smaller files. Look at this time in the (also current) thread MOV-File teilen.
Dass die Dateigröße einen Einfluss auf die Abspielbarkeit hat, könnte with dem Dateisystem zusammenhängen. Mehr dazu findest Du im Posting Problem when dubbing with Pinnacle 9.
