The following problem, I'll have video footage available for a school project, I would have to cut now. It will not go as I please.
I myself have not captured, but Gspot tells me it is mpeg2. So far so good, it only Tmpgnec could not open (file format not supported) and Adobe Premiere auchnicht. I myself now for the Nimo codec pack installed Tmpgenc and edited it at least. Now I can even convert theory into m2v and wav, premiere says yes to Help the m2v support it, but it does not bring me so auchnichts. So I get from Premiere 2.0 with mpeg2 files the message, "Files are demaged or unsupported" and when m2v "file format not supported".
Now I do not know next? What I can do yet.

who has gecapturet the material, it took probably a TV card. This is to be a poor start for the DV editing. I would request the material once again - as a DV-AVI!

had exactly the same problem.
I've bought a new HD Video Camera GZ-MG50E. This camera features over 10 h in DVD (ie MPEG2) on quality. Unfortunately, that Adobe Premiere 2.0 mega problems.
-> If the extension of the file.'s Mpg is the message that the adobe file does not exist.
-> I change the ending of the file. Avi, I can import the file. Unfortunately, the jerky picture all the time.
Do you know the problem with MPEG2 & Adobe Premiere 2.0? I've luckily only the tryout version downloaded. Thought the pro version 2.0 can now deal with mpeg, but was probably nothing!
-> Are there any another editing program that is as good as AP 2.0 & has no problem with mpeg2?

Premiere Pro 2.0 CAN deal with Mpeg2. Unfortunately, however, the tryout version does not. With the full version, I can edit both recordings of a TV card, as did synonymous HD videos (although not ne Sonyand Panasonic, yes Solte) but still work.

mpeg2 does not work in the tryout version.
could test the vollversion there & everything goes with mpeg2.
