Frage von Keff:Enjoy your meal!
Viewed wiedr a medium-sized problem:
A Beta SP tape with sound in two channels (!) Will be digitized. The following pathway: beta-MAZ -> analog / digital converter -> FireWire interface s.Calculator. For Recording: One channel (CH 1), with one lavalier (mono; condensed. Included). CH 2 with a simple micro-directional (line via SQN, mono, synonymous condensed included.).
In Premiere, however, depends on only the first channel. Have a mixer between the A / D converter and calculator and switched because the signal of both channels is still present. Therefore, I assume that the fault lies somewhere on / in the calculator / program. The question now is whether to be done in Premiere, nor any settings or whether it may be s.der soundcard. I rather bet on the latter more so, since I've done all synonymous with Ulead - also only CH 1
So how do I get both channels on EACH one track in Premiere Pro 1.5?
Thanks for any suggestions nature.

Hi Keff,
two mono audio signals can be readily capture a stereo audio signal. In this way the sound remains consistently s.Picture synchronously.
In Premiere, you then do the following: Right click on the relevant soundtrack in the timeline> Audio Options> Links (or duplicate the right), depending on what sound is needed. Both tones are to be mixed together, synonymous You can even copy the entire soundtrack. The hanging on the video soundtrack you can duplicate the left and the right copying. Then everything can be freely mixed together.

Super Sounds - help me, unfortunately not (yet).
The signal of channel two does not even come in Premiere - as described above. Perhaps someone still has so ne idea ...
Thanks

Then I would look for the error there: Beta-MAZ -> analog / digital converter. Only what gets leaked to the A / D converter, it can digitize synonymous. - How did you connect the VTR? Both audio channels separately spent? Sometimes the causes are so banal: Is the audio cable is used in order?
Antwort von Keff:
As I said: In the series I did AFTER the A / D converter connected a mixer and you will come to both channels. I've tried different synonymous FireWire cable - so the error can only really come s.dem FireWire input s.Calculator ...
And Yes to the output channels separately from the CNAC (Incidentally, I have both with a BETA-CNAC as synonymous with an IMX VTR. Tried with BETA or IMX tapes Miserfolg always the same.).
Damn - this is truly desperate for.

What is the reason You turn a mixer in the digital data stream? - Close the A / D converter on a trial at times directly s.den Calculator. How about with the sound then?
Antwort von Keff:
It comes as usual, only the second channel. The desk I interposed until later so I can rule out the possibility that the transducer is faulty. If he is not, because there's 2 channels come out ...

Am I really believe that you are the A / D converter used only for the video signal and the analog sound is conducted to the sound card??
If so - it can sometimes creep in the most trivial errors:
Did you really use a stereo jack cable??
The cable is damaged??
And so, next ....
As a workaround, you could even replace the channel and only the 2nd audio track capture -'d have to "synchronize only" more then 2 channels ...
Antwort von Keff:
Sure, there's always dreamed banalities. But did - I think - all excluded.
All signals are converted - synonymous both audio channels. 've Obviously synonymous out and her exchanged, but the problem remains.
What is there for setting options in Premiere? With the manual I only increases due to ...
Antwort von Markus:
I looked barely ... You can not sound when capturing in Premiere (6.5) are to mono. If in doubt, try a different time from capture tool, eg
Antwort von Keff:
Have tried several tools. And as I said: With the converter, there's no problem. Error lies somewhere in the series AFTER the transformer - so s.FireWire cable.
Antwort von Markus:
Viewed in sequence: You play the A / D converter and two audio signals to both come to s.Wandler. This is considered.
In Premiere, you can not capture in mono, so the data can be recorded via Firewire, not be changed.
Unlike analog audio cables can not be a Firewire cable so change that is made up of two separate audio signals (stereo) a single (mono).
What option remains? ... As you have the converter (which model tested?) To eliminate this source of error really?
Antwort von Keff:
Well then. There was `s but the FireWire input. New Mainboard Drivers and everything runs like clockwork!
Child's play! Next time I want something heavier ... ;)
