Hello from Wuppertal,
we have produced with a video tape of my (our first).
Great scenery, good light, and ultimately, our keyboard player a well very good video camera (3 chip ..'ve only seen ...).
The cut and the camera work synonymous see very well but ... s.Ende ...
The overall impression looks more like a documentary or NEN wedding video! It can be seen simply because something is not right ... We see no MTV clip :-(
The picture is too clear or sharp or ...???
Now my question: Is there some standarts (effects) you have to consider?
I know just from my music studio operations kompremieren. (Signal, equalizer, reverb echo ...).
Hope you understand what I mean. My colleagues bring new material every day (once Sepia, once b / w) but ... Toller Effect and still Wedding Video ... :-(

Without having seen the thing to have, I guess just into the blue, that it is a matter of camera work. While filming already thinking s.den section. You can still get out much when cutting material from edema, but there are limits to the image effect is determined on the set and not be changed.

The end result would thus never run on MTV. (Good, it is not synonymous).
It just has everything the amateur wedding video touch. It is so sterile to clean or clear?

I think if you in the Luma a slight "S" inscribes that works very well. So, lift up the contrasts.

Googel times after "film look" and read you all through what makes the film look. The Page of the film school (Movie College), I can recommend for you there.

Wedding video can look that is synonymous well.

Hey,
So much for the film look involves more than 25p. So I have written, just googled for "film look".
Moreover, the true definition of wedding videos not quite:
- It is true that the white balance is not usually true
- It is wrong that wedding videos are sharp
;-)
