Hello,
I have been a proud owner of a Christmas Mustek R580 DVD Recorder with 80GB HD and tuner. My better half has paid the purchase, unfortunately only on the DV-in. " Now I have to say though that the recorder has a DV-in but no DV - Out :-((.
Is there a patch for that? I would like to edit the recorded HD movies on the s.PC.
If anyone has an idea ......

No DV OUT is actually normal for DVD recorders.
You could try to create your videos on rewritable DVDs (+ RW,-RW, or RAM, depending on the ability of the recorder and DVD drive s.PC) to your PC, and tormenting there with the MPEG2 editing program ...
But what else - has the DVD recorder does not - if synonymous primitive - Editing functions? But it is mostly "just" messed about advertising and pre-and wegzuschnippeln guy.
