Frage von yosengy:Does anyone know the following problem?:
My Canon MV650i displays for a short time in the recording mode, only a vertically striped Picture. The stripes look almost like a curtain, especially in blue / green and yellow / orange colors and can be seen partly as a motive "behind it" nor easy. If one zooms in, changed the pattern of stripes somewhat synonymous, ie, the zoom still works. All Menufünktionen appear correctly on the screen, all playback functions, and synonymous to recording via firewire to work properly.
The problem is the film-and photo mode and it will all be recorded as synonymous.
Canon's support knows the problem does not appear. Since the warranty has expired, would be quite expensive to repair, because Canon charged flat rates.
Has anyone of you already had the problem of synonymous and can tell me the cause?
Thank you for feedback!
Antwort von Markus:
Hello,
Your description it may be only a failure of optical signal processing. What do you think, how the error could be corrected, if not in the workshop? Is it worth repairing or would be a new camcorder (with two years warranty) the better choice?
Antwort von yosengy:
Hello
I've been afraid, had synonymous all settings in the menu and re-Added.
I thought that you could possibly uploading a new firmware, but found none.
Whether the repair is worth, I do not think so.
Thanks for your answer
Ps: if anyone knows another solution, I'm open for any advice.

Hello!
By me only a small addition:
Would be interesting to see if your camera is four months older than mine.
For me the problem occurred since the end of last week - without warning.
