My acquisition cost-and a Sunday Question:
Soon I will redeem my faithful XL1 against something new. To find my desired configuration, I once briefly describe how it should look like this:
The camera would have the features of the XL 2 (do not have HD, but native 16:9) and be equipped with an LCD monitor. It has integrated storage media as a
commercial DVD that I put in the movie recording in my computer, pull the data via drag-and-drop "on my hard drive and then import into the editing of program. Exit the cumbersome and Her round of tape on the plate!
Is it any wonder thing in sight?

You have to somewhat synonymous in the industry to move.
A DVD recorder a wonder thing? Either small or poor compression Runtime - to SD. If HD is (and this is it synonymous if you STILL do not need), there will be no more great developments in SD. Say, your miracle device would necessarily HD.
The DVD is too low for such purposes, dead storage capacity, or high compression.
Blu-ray, or HD-P2 system, it will be. Since the Capturn then deleted.
SonyXDCAM HD is a possibility. Blue-ray media (like DVDs). Whether you are in for some time to read it synonymous with a PC drive ... not before.
However, it would cost a camera including equipment (Lenses, electricity, MAZ) back over 30,000. Otherwise, there would be of Panasonic P2. Tapeless and use immediately. Can reader or via PCMCIA card to jump into the PowerBook in Final Cut Pro. So HVX200. Creates synonymous with SD DVCPRO50 or DVXPROHD. Makes no difference in processing. (especially in Final Cut Pro to work with DVCPRO HD, in HD, runterrechnen in SD, but the quality is much better s.end)
Next there is the possibility of XL2, Xl1H + (Firestore) HD recorder.
It includes a USB 2.0 s.and you have all the information directly. Whether you now have a DVD into the calculator makes or joins such a Firstore pe USB ...

I would be interested in views, for which recording format or camera model did you choose? You had a DVD, the consumer referred to as a recording medium (which I would strongly advise, however, synonymous), while "has resulted PowerMac" Patrick many professional systems into the field.

So decided "I have nothing for me. With the XL1'm still in the midst of a Project and the couriers was synonymous not there. That does not however prevent them from prospect to long-term ...
"PowerMac's" contribution was brought to me in this strong flavor! The Pana HVX200, together with a Fire Store recorder would interest me very! Especially with this team more than one format are possible, and therefore I could continue working in DV and change at the appropriate time on HD (or DVCPRO HD). However, this solution would be for at least ¬ 10,000 payable ...!! (which I've already FCPro5)
What motivates me the way a change is the fact that I love the 16:9 format over all (a pure matter of taste) and that this format provides the XL1 pictures where you have the constant and very disturbing feeling of uncertainty.
