earlier (?), there were times to the Council, the 1394 network adapter in Device Manager to disable it. 've Never understood, because I did not need, but it reminds me that there something was, Perhaps's yes?

The fact that two entries are in the map is actually normal. You can go in connection problems and the 2nd Entry (Network Adapter) manual off, but must not normally make.
The card itself chooses not synonymous in the capture and editing programs, but it suspended the DV device. Now, this DV device (typically "Micro $ oft DV Camera and VCR") only for the choice, when Windows on a DV Camera Connector detected.
This is apparently recognizing in Windows XP trickier, because Bill and the timing of the responses to questions about Camera DV program read something ticklish than in previous versions of Windows ... In addition, some cameras are more good-natured and others are more biestig.
Tips to increase the detection probability, therefore, sometimes reminiscent of Voodoo:
- Camera in front of the calculator in the video player (VCR) mode switch, anstöpseln and then drive up Calculator
- Camera Calculator turn on after ...
- Camera Calculator from running off / on switch
- Camera with Battery operated
- Camera with Power Supply without Battery operated
- Camera when the computer what to play and hope that Windows, the source of data investigated, reinkommenden DV
- When sudden failures after service pack installations and upgrades to investigate whether other problems are synonymous and possibly play back old installation
Last but not least, the classic:
- Check cable. There have been cases in which the times are not deep enough into the socket is reingegangen. A piece of the plastic housing of times with the kitchen knife has helped.
- Camera check. There are cases with a defective IR port. Klappt the Camera when miners or traders?
Good luck

tjo,
So gehts echt premiere as net
and with the WinDV
recognizes the nix
So I think of the programs it is not :-(
In the Device Manager: My firewire card is even in network adapter (1934-Nerzwerkadapter)
and then IEEE 1934 Bus host controllers -> VIA OHCI-compliant IEEE 1934 host controller
So times I think he has recognized the card, the cables are correctly connected au,
but the map can I as a source (device) in any of these programs, because there are only my TV card as a connection to choose from ....
Had a super if knew what
Thank you
the blonde ;-) stefan

Antwort von Stefan:
Adobe Premiere: Do you have the new Project as a project with DV presets synonymous and open the appropriate device driver for it in the editing program terminated? Not for the generic IR device drivers.
What is it with the simplest of computer programs - ScenalyzerLive or WinDV recognize the camera and can rüberschaufeln a video? Card recognition is a necessary thing. It must indeed synonymous to detect the camera.
Good luck
