Hello Forum,
because of lack of space in my apartment, I had my PC with all the stuff and submit computer table and buy a laptop
(Acer Extensa 5620Z). With my laptop, I am pleased to DV editing.
It is so that my laptop when editing video just hangs, because doing nothing more.
What should I do s.meinem PC upgraded so that it works perfectly?
Oh yes, I use Pinnacle Studio10.
Were thankful for every tip.

Welcome to the world of Pinnacle.
I'm synonymous recently of Studio 7 at Studio 10 and the transition went on not one of my three calculator at home. I bereuhe to 90 $ for the software to have spent today :-)
Studio 10 is simply the unstable versions of all similar and it eats you like Adobe Premiere on the calculator.

I am completely satisfied with Pinnacle, except that the calculator will depend,
synonymous and would like to stay at Pinnacle.

As of V7 was not stable (ouch, here equal to the protests?!) But I do not even ran the test versions on various computers without blistering or stable CPU.
In addition to Premiere Elements (which is quite stable, but will devour your calculator in terms of resources) I am currently on Sony Vegas. The Pro version is great for HDV, but perhaps a bit too expensive for everyone's taste. Comparable to the Pinnacle Studios, there is the Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum. Has almost over and Pinnacle is enormous Systemschonend in operation. I ran with SD video on a Core Solo 1.8GHz with 1GB RAM (HP is a Slime Line, ie Core Solo Mobile CPU) fairly quickly. But nix for HDV, because brauchts already 3GHz or more. Vegas is not the typical drag & drop software packages. The workflow is a little different but you get used very quickly on it.
How is the Magixsoftware I do not know. I never tried.

Eats not nearly enough resources to install and especially not a lot of services that are the "normal" does not work. I say only "SQL Server". The Pinnacle is installed, and the CPU is really s.die.

I'm working with Pinnacle Studio for many years (for DV material 9.4Plus studio), so it may be partially unstable, but if the "quirks" knows it - at least for me - seldom crash the program. The latest version
should (I have read of other users) to be the best.
I can understand you that you are reluctant to change because I am also editing the video in Pinnacle Studio just fine and find it fun ...
Meanwhile, with a film I HDV Camera. Since I was not sure whether the installation of Studio 11 Ultimate synonymous my purchased HFX packages, filters, etc. of the old version next work, I choose Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8 decided. The editing in the program, I personally do not like it, but the rendered HDV film is the quality of simple super. So I forced myself with angefreundet Vegas.
