Hello!

Usually, you screw the IR filter in front of the ND filter. Is there an impairment of the action or "undesirable effects" if it is vice versa?
Due to my question: How do I use recommended trunk of my 103 cameras Heliopan IR filter. They are mounted they always synonymous as protection for the front lenses. I would like a suitable occasion to use an ND fader. For this I would first down the IR, the ND faders up and then screw up again the IR. It would be simpler if the IR is on it and the ND fader to come forward.

Why do you do you work?

It is synonymous infrared ND filter. Thus, your problem is solved I think!

Thanks for the info, I did not know, but it was a logical .... can you give me recommended Manufacturer?

My inquiry is an ND fader of my knowledge has no IR reflective coating. It would still important to me to learn whether the order is of importance.

I think because those with IR ND Fader already in existence, it has no effect on the order, if one considers it purely sober.

Really I can recommend as absolutely nothing because I do not own such a filter myself.

I have bought me such a fader recently for my SD 707th It is very pleasant to work with this part because you can adjust the exposure with fixed adjustable Aperture. This is much more convenient than standing around tapping on the screen.
The greater the density of the neutral filter, the IR is the more relevant issue. I will soon be traveling in Brazil and that will not go without the use of ND.

I do not quite understand ... do you think the error is because there is not a ND with integrated IR?
If you think it so ... the fader is already bought, I would like to work in the correct order it. The next time I will make sure -> convenient handling, a filter glass less ...

No, no, I mean, once you filter and have written one that has me confused ....... Fader ;-)

Usually, cameras have already implemented an IR blocking filter that you can not move freely, but can be removed only from the technical service. Of these, however, is not recommended!!

This means for you that you can use the ND filter or synonymous fader from the IR filter screws.

The lock is always right in front of the sensor. (That last Filtering)
Eighth on it that the Hot Mirror begins at 680 nm, because otherwise you'll get the range up to 750nm problems. In most already provides the built-in filter for sufficient barrier.

That make a coloring with which the White balance compensates with good grace.
We manage the amount of light control the way of the auto iris s.and instead use the Aperture manual. In this way you change controls synonymous with dynamic lighting conditions, a constant depth of field by screens or can change the depth of field.

That will not go with a filter attachment, unfortunately. But I gather from this that I any ND Fader / filter screw BEFORE the IR.

Yes, you've recently mentioned in another thread. In trunk-ego synonymous've already read (they formed one day ;-)

At this Tiffen I am very interested. Do you have to type a name? Do you mean this?
