Frage von Heiden28:Hello,
am today for the first time here.
I have a problem mitdem NEC OHCI-compliant IEEE 1394 host controller.
Every time I think Rechenknecht new start, he says, he told me new hardware has gefunden.Nämlich the said host controller.
Then hang the Rechenknecht mehr. Also nothing goes on and reboot.
Then either the same procedure is happening, or the servant of boots and then remain standing while booting (black screen).
Sometimes, but only sometimes, when no message is the Rechenknecht mormal runs high, as if never been something.
Now I have the calculator start in safe mode and disables the controller.
Then everything funzt normal.
How this can be that someday will be the Host?
I suspect it has to do with USB, since it recognizes the mouse strangely enough, the webcam and my Teledata situation and makes no problems.
But as I plug in my external USB to FP, it does not recognize those on strike and ask for a Drivers.Das same happened synonymous with my USB stick.
No matter where I am doing anstöpseln things.
However, in Device Manager, all green.
Where can there really be the hardware conflict.
Someone an idea?

You betray us a few things to your calculator ... CPU, OS, SP 1 or 2, etc.

And before you re-hires him, once you look at your FW card or chip, OHCI what you have installed - may be of NEC, Via or TI, which is pretty important, I realized s.eigenen body.

Antwort von Reimer Reimer:
1. never leave you on Windows
2. again look at your OHCI chip which is really on it
or look in the manuals of Mothwerboard or card manufacturer
3. times if you check the latest update patch installed in relation to Firewire

Perhaps more of a driver problem / chipset. But if the onboard FW?
