Frage von getfree:Hi All,
my problem. I have a Sonydsr 150 with NTSC material into a NTSC Project of Premiere captured. Film (45 min) is finished cut. Now I have serious problems that NTSC material export without quality loss.
export over to PAL
encoder leads to jerky (no more flowing movements, pans and tracking shots in vssichtbar)
EVEN when I use the Export on-> FILM going as avi, so remain in NTSC, which are in movements such as moving cars, lines redrawn ....
What should I do, or what have I done wrong?
Antwort von Stefan:
Possibility 1: Produce an NTSC video.
Many (all?) European DVD players play NTSC DVDs synonymous. Many modern TVs receive the synonymous. All DVD-enabled computers have no problems synonymous.
Option 2: Change the NTSC video to PAL video.
Take a commercial program for it, if you have little time or work your way into the topic.
Programs for format conversions there are of Canopus, DVFilm (Atlantis v2), Firestore (DV Standards Converter), ...
Incorporation begins here ...

Again, supplementing:
Now I have serious problems that NTSC material export without quality loss. ) The conversion of NTSC to PAL (or vice versa, without loss of quality is practically impossible, since all the critical image parameters must be converted: From 29.97 fps to 25, from 480 lines to 576th
Alternatively, you could be synonymous is PAL speedup (better make Slowdown) to adapt at least the frame rate without major problems. In movies (24 fps) that will gladly done so, but would the PAL video will run much slower than the NTSC version.
So why not, simply create an NTSC video?
PS: File> Export> Movie does not necessarily mean that the video in NTSC format is exported. What settings are available in the resolution, frame rate, etc.?
Antwort von MiXMaster:
markus thank you, thank you Stefan
I have now decided to spend the movie as synonymous NTSC.
but lines still trailing at passing cars for example. Can it be that I have made errors in Eindigitalisieren already, despite the default Adobe Premiere NTSC Project? Could this s.der Sonydsr 150P lie, with which I have captured?
Antwort von Stefan:
Do you make the classic mistake and assess the interlaced video on a progressive display without deinterlacing?
Interlaced video on an interlaced TV should not have trailing lines.
Good luck

Hi,
a very good, clean and quick method is to convert the NTSC files with the Canopus Procoder Express in PAL. Does not cost the earth, and it will encode you very much synonymous with good results made in other format.
