Because I've got a question! Undzwar gave me my family from the States gave a professional camcorder undzwar "SONY DCR-VX2100 camcorder" However, since these Sun. So you can on miniDV cassettes that I know how to record PAL as NTSC. ALso it is not about different tapes. You can do it synonymous dub on your PC. Adobe Premiere s.Anfang you can always choose whether you want your Project, have to PAL or NTSC. I know not with what you cut, this function but there should be in any video editing program!
The problem of what you'll have is that it will not be the same on a TV Quallität well as for PAL. You can see it on a PAL TV mostly, (device on an NTSC anyway) but probably with black bars. (?)

PS: If you had had a PAL camera, you'd never be able to send your video to the States, because on NTSC equipment usually can not you be watching PAL video;)

clear, the same applies to MiniDV. Recording and everything else is in NTSC no problem. But if you want to make copies, it is problematic. You need ne standards conversion, ... for me it was just then wanted to dub on VHS or DVD, ... did not work. Gibts ne cheap at Ebay page for this standard changes. schau mal unter www.video-del-fin.de

And if in doubt, run NTSC DVDs with a DVD software player s.Computer.
