I know this question is probably stupid, like so many novice questions!

Was so synonymous with me, had the GS-500 in the house and then I have it exchanged for a HV20 - fortunately! At more or less the same price there are worlds between SD and HDV - because it is worthwhile, then do not buy it 2 times!

Who better resolution / quality to have, which takes up to HDV.

Canon HV20 is just a little more expensive than the NV-GS 500 and dominated both SD and HDV ..
You can film in HDV and SD as a capture, so I see no problem as what your calculator is concerned.

The image corresponds to halt the PAL resolution / quality. Is it better with pictures than a normal SD Camorder.

Yes, you are the cheaper HV20 currently can not buy. And yes, HV10 would be synonymous an alternative for less cost.

my order is triggered, it now means waiting until the device is there, 10 days should it take.
If anyone still synonymous Canon for 850, want to order, on ebay it is tonight discontinued once inside.

mainly I read everywhere that people are the Tripod some time ago for about 80 - have received since grad seems to do nothing at all to be. price is rather good in the 90s.
Anyway, with shipping, I am now at 91, - landed, now my account is plundered and there's just water and rice to eat, o)
