Frage von castro:Hi,
I have made before about half a year, a camcorder: The Panasonic NG GS75EG.
Now I would like to cover my recorded videos of the cassettes to the PC and burn onto CD or DVD.
Unfortunately, the dubbing works on the PC for any reason. The manual is unfortunately not at all addressed the issue of dubbing videos on your PC: (
So:
First I installed the drivers in the supplied CD and then also present on the CD "MotionDV STUDIO LE for DV, the" installed. If I start the wizard, and an input "select DV device" is to me an error message appears: "There is no video device connected with the personal computer." I connected the camcorder, but the enclosed s.den PC with USB cable and the steering wheel to "PC" made.
Does anyone know the problem and how can I fix it?

Maybe we need the system to check erstmal before niederbügelt again with the crowbar everything as soon as USB is called.
Which operating system?
What service pack is installed?
Although I have an NV-GS 140, but they're similar in this respect erstmal.
Dubbing via USB, at least works for me just as well as with Firewire. The Panasonic software will recognize (as well as an installed Media Studio) the camcorder without problems, the tapes can be easily transferred. The quality is certainly not worse.
Why, then immediately run to the nearest shop and get a FW interface, without having to isolate the problem better?
@ Markus:
The problem is certainly not the same as indicated in your link. We know erstmal no idea what the OS is installed. The other was already predetermined by Windows ME that will not do.

So stop supporting anyone what he thinks is right. ;-) Well, that's a good thing, however, synonymous.
Otherwise we would discuss here so soon nothing more to ;-)))
