Hi All,
I cut a clip and now wishes to pursue this code in certain ways:

Encoded files must comply to ISO / IEC 13818-2 Specification
MPEG2 files must be encoded sa program stream.
Elementary video stream = Main Profile Main Level MP @ ML 4:2:0.
Elementary audio stream must therefore be included and must be MPEG1 layer II
encoded. Bitrate 224 kbps for Mpeg1 Layer II
Audio source before encoding is 16 bit S.48 or 44.1 kHz sample rate.
Audio Level - Normalize to-3db
Resolution for 16:9 aspect ratio is 720 x 576 x 25 (; PAL) (; with 16:9 flag ON!)
Maximum program stream bitrate is 15 Mbps.
Constant Bitrate (; (CBR) or variable bitrate, VBR)
Group of Picture (; GOP) Structure is CLOSED.
Normally 13 or 15 frames / GOP.
IB & P frames will provide the most efficient compression.
Wherein each GOP will contain a sequence header.

Unfortunately I can not make different rendering settings in Premiere CS3. Or do I overlook something?
Is there an equivalent plugin / codec for CS3 or do I have to go via an encoder? If encoder, can you recommend me for the occasion?
AND: How to reach the best possible outcome, that is, but what I rendere s.besten out of Premiere?

Premiere's Media Encoder because I do not know enough, I suggest you TMPGEnc.

All parameters are configurable. Since I primarily with the encoder Qicktime feed-reference files, I can unfortunately give no other specific format.
I would create an AVI or Quicktime with the lowest Kopressionsrate. If the clip does not take tens of minutes, you can synonymous "with no compression" option.
In any case, you can you the 30days demo download and enjoy the full functionality. Although the encoder is anyway only about 70,-euro cost.

Also s.das feedstock think. If this is already mpeg2, it might make sense to go via Quicktime AVI or avoided.

I'll look at the demo of TMPG. Yes price is really manageable.
There is also the possibility to upgrade, Premiere so that I can determine it directly into the target format and the parameters come from? Can CS4?
