ps: I know it from the view of intelligent videoschnitttechnischer would resort to a larger laptop .... but would still like to know how the 13 "mbp beats!
Antwort von hoffo:
I cut HDV on a three-year-old MacBook.
Therefore you can assume that with a new MBP you're certainly on the secure page.
Makes it more fun with an external monitor.
Antwort von p@ul:
Okey thanks ...
... The external monitor would have been planned anyway;)
Had also been planned, in the case with the. Mts files that alone will not cut it, I work Gscheid easy to use ProRes or the like. Vlt synonymous someone can write me in this respect his experience. Zb. such as the MacBook generally deal with avchd files compared to a windows computer.
Looking forward answer about each and hope soon to benchmarks of 13 "MacBooks finalcut respect, etc.
Thanks;)

I can confirm my beat synonymous with 7D footage with.
btw: SSD skin really clean. if the files are not too big that is.

So I still have the "old" MBP did from January. So there can be ProRes and Intermediate gaaaaaaanz cut flüüüsssig ;-) This is very good - if you have 2 GB Ram reinhaust (ie 4GB / 8GB) then you have absolutely no problem - the processor makes it only really noticeable when rendering, but the is surely the smallest problem .. (:

Although I would personally prefer an Imac, because a larger screen and more power. But I suppose you want to be mobile.
Cutting and a render synonymous s.and on my Pro (the smallest) and there are no problems, except that the battery is empty rather fix.
Antwort von Debug:
The MBP achieved in Geekbench test a score of just over 6000th The image reaches i7 just over 10000 with 8GB. And a lot of the wood is.
If you go to mobility, as suggested in the previous post already, this is obviously not an option for you.
