Newsmeldung von slashCAM: New Camera-business concept on the march? Of blip - 1 Apr 2006 16:56:00 Prior to the NAB 2006, will take place later this month in Las Vegas, compacting the rumors about a new camcorder sales concept, which will be presented there, called the Personal License Recording (PaLiR). According to yet officially unconfirmed information is therefore a consumer model will be presented, which are trading well below today's average price - would provide details, it unfortunately does not exist yet, but the price is significantly below the $ 100-mark. In addition, however, qualify for the user fees for the camera. Whether here for a certain amount of shooting time paid in advance, or whether subsequent minutes accurately billed, is not known. In the latter option is for us the question of what happens with the recorded material when the user is unable to pay the fees. It is not excluded that under certain circumstances until payment is made shall remain the property of the camera manufacturer.
The camcorder is in addition to a current-model facilities (the CCD will be approximately 1/4-Inch big to be fitted about 20-times optical zoom, 16:9 recording) with a special DRM Chip and Blutooth. After the purchase, the unit must first be unlocked via cell phone. It will enter the serial number and personal information of the buyer, and synonymous fixed price plan, and payment options. The user will then receive a password that must be entered before each use of the camera. Therefore, it would hardly be more attractive to thieves.
Behind the concept is the idea are that consumers who want only to document their vacation twice a year, need not invest no matter how Vielfilmer. Thus, the concept also synonymous for the latter is not entirely uninteresting, had planned a flat rate, similar to internet prices.
Although without all the facts on the table to have, in our view, the concept seems rather questionable. If the rumors prove true, the trend would spread to synonymous for licensing the production level and not only affect consumers - which would in some ways, of course, an overly logical development. With the protests of consumer associations as synonymous, both those who have written to the protection of privacy on the flags, should be expected. But we'll wait - s.end as always, the consumer will decide how and what he wants to spend his money.

Is'n What kind of a concept? The companies we want to steal consumers of s.Shooting the air? This will cost but durable 1000x more than if you spend even 700 ¬ for a horny cam. And net 200x 5 ¬ for the shooting. 30 years shooting (in my case, 4 years) and 10 films a year (in my case, producing about 1) but will cost an infinite amount Teuros!
