Hello,
I'm new here in the forum, but I would be very happy about a few comments.
I am still working to configure my computer to a new set up.
I want to cut HD clips of up to 20m length with Premiere CS4. Otherwise, the calculator will serve as a normal desktop office PC. Played is not at all.
At the moment, I wonder to configure your PC in Alternate.de.
Has anyone been to experience?

I am very pleased with tips and feedback! The Konfiguation makes me a bad impression - and if you have some know-how, dare you. I tell you, however, more RAM (at least 12 GB) if you want more CS4 applications can run in parallel. If I have, for example Premiere After Effects s.laufen with linked files, and additionally have Photoshop open via Encore and burn a DVD, then the 12 GB have been completely exploited. Rule of thumb: Pro CS4 running application you need around 4GB of RAM.
In addition, if you have HD footage to edit, then I recommend you replace the DVD burner like a Blue-ray burner. Today's cost is no longer synonymous all over the world and run very reliably. Moreover, with this you can burn CDs and DVDs synonymous.
You enough 1TB hard drive capacity? With HD material, the plates are pretty full quickly!
