Welcome the new year!
Every year I want to upgrade Once again, and wonder "what s.Hardware" currently recommended is really a good system at all levels as possible to piece together (3D, video dv, hdv, but synonymous media center). Above all, the choice of CPU gives me riddle ....
Which CPU? AMD or Intel? Dual-Core? Xeon? 64bit?
Figures are dual core processors (out already)?
As reported gibts on Intel Xeons with?
Which graphics card? Have to Slashcam of what the new ATI 1800 All in One Card is one? Avivo? ATI is in terms of video (playback only, daarstellungsqualität) is still better?
HDs? Raptor plates? RAID? What RAID.Controller? Onboard controllers are really more of a brake as a booster? 've Read that it then has its own controller should be a la 3ware!?

That is schonmal nonsense. Again and again we hear that, but why? I have an Avid Pro HD system with the Athlon X2 4400 + built without a single part of HP or Dell and running smoothly, there is just a 90-minute film was finished.
As a graphics card I have installed the APVe of Matrox and am thrilled. I can recommend to anyone who wants to assemble a cut computer, this combination has only warmly.
Moreover, one can see the processor utilization, as well Avid uses the two cores of the Athlon X2. Again, this is negated in this forum ever and again and again. Do you get any commission of HP and Dell and Intel?
