I think Kdenlive is the first software in Linux properly. Cinelerra Jashaka and the other one can forget. It is worth a try Kdenlive times!

Can synonymous only positive things about Kdenlive report.
After extensive experimentation with programs such as Jashaka & Co
(Movies, Lives ...) Kdenlive is definitely the best,
what it is currently free and reasonably easy to operate there.
I like the following points:
* Any number of video - and audio tracks, the limit is the computer equipment.
* Stability
* All the essential processing functions included.
* Also crafting:
The "cut list" in the SMIL format;
Kdenlive creates these text files that are s.das XMLFormat hold.

Furthermore, these SMIL files synonymous with the help of other programs generate:
eg from a database, a spreadsheet application (Excel Clones) and change.
Templates (templates) are thus synonymous easy to achieve:
Simply cut the existing project list for a copy
and to apply the new material. Since the raw material sources
in the form of filenames in the SMIL files that need

(The new clips have to be at least as long as its the old).
This can be made from once-cutting sessions tinker with templates for movies,
a uniform flow (cut-sequences), but have different content.

If this approach is pursued next, there are untold possibilities
and there might be soon (or already?) other programs, the

The last feature is not for everyone, but the desire to

With simple text replacement we can already do something very quickly, which

provided you have no grammatical errors in the SMIL files.
And: It is fine if you are not of one of the

Conclusion now, that was my (too wordy but enthusiastic) subjective spontaneous

PS: Who was similar in the audio field (synonymous with Windows, but no SMIL feature) examines
