Hello Together,

I want to give me for Christmas a new PC for video editing of AVCHD footage.
The camera is the SonyHDR-CX100E. I want to edit with Adobe premiere element 7
Now I have a PC envisaged but not yet purchased, wanted to ask here first.

His statement: For video editing is not the processor important, but the graphics card,
Therefore, he recommended me a PC gamer.

To my knowledge, however, the graphics card plays a minor role and the processing power must be high.

Bad is not the PC, But Expensive
A 2nd hard drive (or 2 for RAID), you'd have to also upgrade
Probably not synonymous Blu-Ray burner but only a comb drive (Blu-Ray Read - DVD write) it, sowas drives cost

Such dir nen new computer store, the testimony of the guy is absolute garbage! Your knowledge is already correct about this ... In my opinion, the Pc is really much too expensive, but I am not an expert on it (Mac users ..)

But of all that you have bought yourself, we have never heard otherwise anyway. Always works for you all pretty perfect.
This is better than for Macintosh.

Ok, that sounds plausible.
Had in fact to make two partitions.

In my experience:

If you want to correct abgehn, get nen Mac. Thus you will save a lot of nerve, but does not slow down money.

Otherwise tuts synonymous ne Cheap Windows box in Eigenbau. As you rack up you exactly what you need and pay for anything you do not need.

I cut myself on an old Intel Q6600 and the tuts for HDV 25Mbit stream in any case!
