Hi All,
I'm still looking for a new camcorder and I have not been able to decide. I've been a SONY MiniDV camcorder (used; TRV14E), which is broken now. I am looking for an equivalent device, but initially, no HD, as I usually did not have any HD components need to work comfortably and Videos s.PC.
I had thought initially s.den SONY DCR-SR77. This is synonymous to deliver sharp and good interior shots, but very dark.
I sat synonymous hope in the latest Sony devices, especially the SX73 with Exmor-R-image converter, but can only compare prices, and no tests or reviews available on the WWW.
Can anyone of you already say something about this device or suggest me an alternative? The 350.00 EUR, which we currently have to lie down for the SX73, which is already the limit for me.

I have found, after a browse today a test magazine (computer video), which have some 2010-Latest, as synonymous to the SX73 SONY, just put under the microscope.
The test was very promising. So it seems the built-1/4- R Exmor image converter to keep his promises. The Color performancewurde assessed as very good. In terms of the lowlight SX73 competition (USDI new Canon FS306 is the successor of the FS200) with the lowest noise and the sharpest picture clearly behind him.
Interestingly, besides, I think that divides the SX73 as an SD flagship of Sony, not only the CMOS, but Housing and Lens synonymous with more expensive models from their own home. Resolutionund the sound quality and sharpness are excellent to be very orderly. The new electronic image stabilization and iAuto will fight very well. That he "only" has a 25x optical zoom, shows that he wants to be taken seriously. Between the SX73 and the equally new to SR58 are worlds apart. Test pictures in the magazines show this quite clearly.
After me, the old SX-series was not so convincing, this device is probably a successful exotic and an interesting candidate for those looking for an SD model.
Unfortunately, I could not even antesten him. In shops (of some online shops, apart of course) he is still largely unknown.
Has someone perhaps already own impressions or experience can earn with this model?
