I edit all the videos currently on a MacBook Pro but I will now synonymous Deskopt buy a PC. The Mac Pros are unfortunately too expensive for me but a friend recommended me this workstation here.
I work mainly with Adobe CS5 and DVCProHD.
Lenovo ThinkStation S20:
4x 3.06GHz Xeon UP W3530
6GB RAM
1 x 500 GB hard drive
Windows 7 64-bit

DVCProHD has so far I know no large hardware requirements. Otherwise ... the hard drive could be definitely larger.

If you've been working on a Mac, then yes, but you have to buy the Production Premium for Windows again. Or have you run on the MacBook is a Windows?

Well, I have cut on my MacBook synonymous no problems with it but I just want to have a calculator that I use really only for video editing. I've also synonymous out again and other material processing, I would be synonymous have enough reserves.
Hard disks, I would have upgraded anyway yet, right now I have all my raw UBS2 on external drives (I know not ideal ...).

I'm currently the s.MacBook CS4 Student Edition (can not upgrade it, it is very cheap). For the new PC I would buy then just the CS5 Student Edition.
